Mill’s Pride was a company that started in Florida. When Home Depot began at its inception they where looking for a cabinet company near their three opening stores. They found Mill’s Pride and made arrangements with them to make them bigger. During the years Home Depot grew and so this Mill’s Pride. Mill’s Pride sells Kitchen Cabinets, Vanity cabinets, Closets, and Bookcases.
In the last few years Home Depot knew that they have lost millions of dollars by having Mill’s Pride be their stock cabinet company. THey saw trends of other competitors like Lowes and trying to get away from rta they went to more assemble cabinets. Their contract was comming to an end and instead of negotiating another contract they decided to use a clause they had in their contract and not to carry this brand anymore. What this did is destroy the company as we knew as Mill’s Pride.
